The use of games and plays to develop concepts and attitudes concerning ethics and morality in persons with multiple deficiency associated with visual disability
Abstract
The present work brings the reflection on the day-to-day of educators and the importance of the use of
games and games. These resources were used to acquire ethical and moral attitudes and values among five
students with multiple disabilities associated with visual impairment who study in a specialized school. It
is a lacunar theme that is part of a larger research in progress in the Line of Research –Inclusion, Ethics and
Interculturality – of the Faculty of Education of the University in Rio de Janeiro. The choice for this theme
is due to the pedagogical practice performed in an institution located in the same state among students with
this profile. This paper aims to present preliminary data from the pre-testing of one of the instruments used
in school practices. In the present research, the methodology used was the ethnographic research supported
by theoretical references to understand the inclusive process since its beginnings here in Brazil and the
importance of the study of morality and ethics in contemporary education. It was observed that through
games and games there was acquisition of concepts about morals and ethics, greater communication,
interaction, socialization among students, educators, family and community.
