Mathematical Inclusive Education’s Horizons with visually impaired: mapping theses and dissertations
Abstract
The main objective of this article is to map and analyze the production of thesis and dissertations related to
Inclusive Mathematics Education in which were developed researches involving mathematics and visually
impaired people. Hence, the state of the art of this subject was elaborated and researches related to the
mathematical education were selected involving blind learners, pedagogical practices, methodologies and
materials of teaching as well as learning. In addition, we sought works that contained reviews and reflections about blind person, mathematical and inclusion. It was found 32 academic papers being 28 dissertations and
four thesis. The results point to an increase in the production of thesis and dissertations from 2008, being São Paulo state the one that most gathered works involving blind people.
